Description

This is a story of one man, Emmanuel Ofosu Yeboah, who has risen above a severe physical challenge to become an inspiration to people around the world. Emmanuel embarked on a remarkable and heroic journey to pedal a bike across Ghana on one leg in order to change his country’s negative perception of the disabled. Of the twenty million people in Ghana, two million are disabled, often facing persecution from their fellow countrymen. Emmanuel’s amazing story has become the focus of an award-winning documentary, “Emmanuel Gift.” His courage and determination has been recognized with the 2003 Casey Martin Award from Nike and the 2005 Arthur Ashe Courage Award from ESPN.
