Description

CANCELLED due to more thunderstorms *sigh*

Watch for rescheduled date.

It's back. If you missed it last year, or heard about it and want to give it a try, here's your chance. Come with a team, or form one at the start. Bring your digital camera, your creative brain and your knowledge of Chicago history and trivia. Each team only needs one camera. NOTE: One team used a cell phone camera last year and it worked out fine.

You'll get a list of clues at the start, then teams will head out to take pictures for each clue. We'll meet for lunch a few hours later, where you'll get info on putting your photos online to share. Bring your lock and lunch money.

Ride is limited to 8 teams, up to 4 people per team.

Some clues will be easy, with many possible answers, open to creative interpretation. Some will be more challenging. A few will be difficult, with only one or two correct answers.

If you're wrong on the factual ones but you take a very artistic, creative photo, you can still get a decent point total.

Who's in? There's still room on the sign-up list for more riders. If you're new in town or don't have a team, don't let that stop you. Come anyway!

Scoring works this way. There are 10 clues, one of which has a bonus answer. For each clue, you can earn up to 5 points for historical or factual accuracy, 5 points for creative interpretation, and 5 points for artistry.

Your mileage will vary, depending on the exact locations and route you choose, but will be about 20 miles. We had a lot of fun last year. Come and be part of this year's fun!
