In the age of the sixth largest extinction on Earth we will descend upon the youngest and most bio-diverse land in Illinois as we bike from Chicago and camp at Illinois Beach State Park.

A Special Trip Collectible
On the trip we will learn about the geology of the park. The trail and cultural history with maps, visuals, and stories collected from researchers. At the park we'll go on a moonlight hike/swim, hike the remarkable ecology of the park, and discover the Dead River to learn what the Chicago area looked like before European settlement.
ALL ARE WELCOME. The distance and trip are great for beginners and is insightful for seasoned pros. If you have any flats or troubles we are here to help. So come along and invite a friend. Bring your bike and camping gear.
We we will meet at Buckingham Fountain, Chicago, IL. 7:00am.
Bike to & overnight at Illinois Beach State Park with historical breakpoints along the way
On Day 2 Return to Chicago by Train, arriving at 6:11pm
Pace: Casual, we ride together as a group, no one is left behind.
Lodging: Tent or Hotel (campsite included when you register) (Hotel is on your own accord)
Mileage: Day One 52 | Day Two by Train
All proceeds go to the nature, cycling, and camping good.
