Description

DIY and biking goes so well...even if you're not a mechanic. If you want to show your skills or learn some more, I'm going to host another craft night. I'm in the Lincoln Square neighborhood. If you would like to attend, message me or email me for the exact address. I'm close to both the Western and Rockwell brownline stops.

I don't really know how I would make a top tube protector other than following the directions in this Instructables link. It'll require gathering the plain (reflective would be awesome) purple material, foam and Velcro before hand shich is why I might attend.

Comment by BalloonBiker on March 19, 2010 at 11:49am: Hmm...not really sure what activities we'll do. I have a sewing machine that should work if I can figure out hoe to use it. People can always bring yarn and such for crocheting/knitting. I have tons of balloons if anyone can think of bike stuff to do with those. I've got some fittings for earings that people could use (cog earings anyone?) I've also got some used spokes that could maybe be worked into some kind of crafty thing.

There is also a craft store around the corner from my apartment, which you could hit up before coming over if you need anything there.

I have a sewing machine that you are welcome to use. IT was given to me by a friend and I managed to get it tangled up the first time I tried it....so if you think you can fix it, that would be great!

I'll try to find some examples of simple bike craft projects!
