There are competing proposals on the table to widen Quentin Road from 2 lanes and include bicycle access.  Federal funds are allocated but run out in 2016.

The Cook County Department of Transportation and Highways will host a public meeting on Wednesday, December 9 from 4 - 7 PM to discuss the Quentin Road Study. The purpose of the project is to examine potential improvements to Quentin Road from Dundee Road to Lake Cook Road.
The Public Meeting will be conducted on an informal basis. The purpose of the Public Meeting is to re-initiate the study, describe the current planning process, review the existing conditions, and gather input and information. The public will have an opportunity to provide comments to Cook County officials and the consultant team who will be present to discuss the project and answer any questions. The comment period will be open until December 23, 2015, and all written statements can be submitted at the time of the meeting or by email
The meeting will be held at the Holiday Inn Express at 1550 E. Dundee Road in Palatine.
