Everyone, in the spirit of this post:

http://www.thechainlink.org/forum/topics/lets-stop-bitching-about-the

Let's get together, clean up some bikes, donate a little cash, hopefully get some donations and do some good in our community and country.

Gabe has secured us a spot at S&G's on Southport & Lincoln.

We need volunteers, rags, toothbrushes, cleaning solution, bowls, buckets, etc. Bring whatever you can.

Spread the word, tell your friends, tell them to tell their friends that on Saturday July 10th from 10am until 2pm (ish?) they can get their bikes cleaned and all we ask is for a donation of any size to help the cause of those cleaning up the horrendous mess along our Gulf Coast.

We haven't decided yet on who to donate to, and could use your opinions and help on that!

We've decided to help the families of Louisiana and the school supply drive

Read the flyer for complete details.

Put flyers up at bike shops. Any way to get a free ad in a local paper like the red eye or reader?

No, but that's a great idea! Some people were offering to design spoke cards (which I'm still in favor of by the way) ... maybe they could make a little flyer?

I wish I could. Maybe I'll take the day off.
