Description

Last Fridays, leaves after 6pm.

THE monthly gathering of bicyclists making their presence known downtown since 1997. Slowly winds a dozen miles or more. Radically inclusive, thousands attend in good weather.

Daley Plaza, 50 W Washington. Under the Picasso (giant rusty bird), at Dearborn, SW of State&Lake train stop, Randolph exit from LFT.

Comment by Andrew Bedno on January 29, 2014 at 10:33am: Nice work. I love the archive. That's 2008's ride. The 2011 route is about as direct as can be (other than a tiny Elston/Division jog), and was 7.8 miles.

Comment by John on January 29, 2014 at 5:54am: Both the Polkaholics and Lincoln Square Lanes hope to see this month's CCM come to their Bowlin' Ride Polka Party this Friday evening.

This is usually a much smaller ride due to winter weather, so I will propose a previous route. The weather forecast is calling for temperatures slightly above zero, so one of John Greenfield's more direct routes may be preferable.
