Following in the footsteps of Minneapolis, Minnesota, we have a big push to encourage "30 days of biking". It's a great way to kick-start your spring!
Chainlinkers, we can do 30 Days of Biking in April too. Share your pics and show us how you managed to get on your bike - trainer, commute, social ride, weekend ride, etc. Creativity is good! :-)
Pledge to ride your bike every day in April and share your adventures online, with the hashtag #30daysofbiking. Let's create a world where everyone bikes every day. Join us on The Chainlink and share your adventures for 30 days of biking.
Today's our first day for the "30 days in April" challenge. How do you get involved? It's easy!
1. Join the event on Chainlink
2. Make the pledge (Every 2 sign-ups = $1 for World Bicycle Relief.)
3. Share your experiences/post your pics on "I rode today. Did you?"
4. Feel SO good because you are riding your bike!

That's awesome Amanda. Glad to hear it's been positive for you and kept you riding. I'm 20 for 20 as well. :-)
Ten more days! Are you going to do anything special for hitting 30?
I keep forgetting to come check on this event! I'm 20 for 20, I commute on the lakefront to work every day and while I ride through winter there were a few days during that first week that I probably wouldn't have ridden were it not for this challenge :) So it's been positive for me!
At this point, I'm 19 for 19 and I've noticed even if I am tired, it's easier to motivate to get on my bike. Yesterday we had a fun, zippy ride through a short loop a couple of times. A few mini hills and a few fun downhills to speed down. I was tired from Sunday's ride (hilly ride around Kettle Moraine South) but so glad to enjoy the warm, sunny day before the rainy days started. How's everyone else doing? :-)
Rode Thursday and Friday! Woo hoo!
How's everyone doing with their rides? I'm 12 for 12 days but still on a trainer. Very hopeful to be riding outside tomorrow. On a good note, my miles (and speed) have increased. Working at home, it's been harder to motivate but now that I know I have to do some kind of riding during the day, I just jump on first thing in the morning to pretend I'm commuting before I start working.
Ok, this snow is bumming me out. I have 8 out of 8 days on a bike even if too much of it is on the trainer. Today we are heading to Ray's Indoor MTB park in Milwaukee because the bike trainer is getting a bit much. How's everyone doing with their rides? :-)
Haven't ridden yet but will post when I do.
That's really great Paul. Way to go!
I'm happy to say I've ridden my bike 5 out of 5 days. I'm sad to say three of the days have been on the trainer instead of the road. I was really hoping this month would be 30 days of riding outside but at this point, I'm so tired of being cold.
