It's Chainlink Bar Night, the Early Edition! Come out after work to grab a drink and talk bikes!
Monks has reserved a room for us in the back so just ask for the room with the bikers :))
Chainlink Bar Night happens every 3rd Thursday of the month.

Cameron - have you ever been to the Whitehall hotel bar / restaurant? It's across the street from 4 Seasons. They know their scotch too. And wine..

Been meaning to check out that French Market too - Amber let us know how it is. Bars: I actually prefer downtown because of the hipster-free element. I don't like neighborhood pubs either.. much more fun to grab a beer and bs with tourists than locals!

I'm definitely going to go check out the French Market beforehand. I'm all about 'free stuff' right now! Anyone want to meet up? I think I'll bring my skates and go ice skating too.

I seriously have a real love/hate relationshi with this place.
been going there (mostly for drinking lunches) since the mid
80's
they have great burgers btw ans are famous (not sure why)
for root beer.
I may go at 5:30 and eat then slide on back to the 'hood

I'm not a frequent attendee at bar nights (maybe 2 or 3X?), and I haven't complained about those or any of the others before, I just really don't like Monks. Doesn't mean I won't be there though.
My bar requirements are significantly different from the chainlink's in that I don't need to plan for 35+ people and optional decent food. That having been said, I like Blue Line, California Clipper, Danny's, Gold Star, Phyllis's, Small Bar (either), Hideout, The Violet Hour, The Zebra Lounge, and inexplicably I really like the bar in the Four Season's Hotel...
