I love how I'd heard about you two tracking down member 1000. I knew the moment the idea entered your head that member 1000 was definitely going to be there. It was hilarious to see him, arriving apparently alone. Nobody seemed to know his name - so we referred to him as member 1000. I'm not sure if I explain what was so classic about it - maybe he just looked a bit confused.

Well, once again I can't keep up with you young whipper-snappers! The Bike Winter Art Show was too good to leave until the end, at which point I turned into a pumpkin. But I hope you all had (or are still having) a great time! And get off my lawn!

Yikes! Active Trans' member mixer is on the same night as the Chainlink 1000 member party. No problem. Active Trans shinding runs till 7:30. The Chainlink party begins at 8. I look at this happy coincidence as an opportunity for an evening of bike love and a mass migration down the Milwaukee expressway from Weegees to Nicks.

Oh - in that case, perhaps I'll go to a concert that evening and then come later. But then again, I DO have work the next morning! Not just work, a 9 am meeting. Jerks!

Lauren- The bar closes around 2 or 4 am.... I know at least 2 people who have taken that Friday off...

I think one prize should go to the person who stays at the party the longest. Leah???

how late will you party animals be out socializing? i'm seeing a performance that evening, but this could be a stop on the way back...
