Description

Have you ever wanted to learn more about caring for the trees on your property or help care for trees in our city parks? Here's a chance to do both.

We'll meet on the lakefront path at 31st St., do a short ride, see a couple of small nature preserves, and spend the morning doing pruning and mulching in Washington Park. We'll go to lunch at a nearby restaurant afterwards. The ride will be about 10 miles at an easy pace.

Please wear or bring shoes suitable for a lot of walking. Bring your lock and lunch money. Tools and work gloves will be provided.
