A slight twist on last year's Burning Greenbush Journey, join CBES for the Burning Tapistry ride! 

We'll catch the 8:40am South Shore train to Dunes Park and ride over to Burn 'Em Brewing for our first stop. Then onward to the town of Bridgman for stops at Tapistry Brewing and Transient Artisan Ales, which happen to be right across the street from each other. From there we head to Three Oaks for our final stop at Journeyman Distillery. And finally 23 miles to South Bend to catch the 9:16pm (central time) train home.

Total route distance ~78 miles of primarily paved roads but does include some dirt roads. 

You are responsible for you. This primarily refers to your alcohol consumption. We will be riding on roads with traffic so consume responsibly. But this includes being able to handle minor repairs or flat tires on your bike as well as being able to physically handle the distance. 

Minimum average speed is 12 mph. We have a train to catch and no one wants to spend the night in South Bend! If you can't ride that fast for the distance then don't show up. Or you can try to double back to Dune Park. Just don't be the person that makes the group spend the night in some crazy farmer's cornfield! 

Itinerary:

8:40am:  South Shore to Dune Park

10am - 11:30am: Ride to Burn 'Em Brewing (16.5 miles)

12:30pm - 3pm: Ride to Tapistry (25.5 miles)

4:30pm - 6pm: Ride to Journeyman (12 miles)

6:30pm - 9pm: Ride to South Bend (23 miles)

(We may end up skipping Journeyman if running late)

Bring:

-Water and Snacks

-Lock

-Lights (we will be riding after dark on roads with no lights)

-Repair Kit for flats and other minor mishaps

-Common Sense
