Description

We will scout out many of John Kearney's sculptures made from metal automobile bumpers and some made of bronze.  They include the Tin Man at Oz Park, a few giraffes, horses, goats, deer and bears, a gorilla, and a cougar.

We will meet the sculptor John Kearney and see those in his own backyard.

We go through Uptown, Boystown, Old Town, Chinatown and Downtown.  We pass both Major League Baseball Stadiums.  And we see all those wonderful sculptures!

The ride is about 35 miles, but you can leave at any point along the way.  We will stop for a self-hosted lunch at Carbon Mexican Grill (outdoor tent) at the 18 mile point at 300 W. 26th St. or you can choose Ricobene's if you prefer, which is nearby.

We go under a few viaducts, so you might prefer to have your front and rear headlights installed

Hey Kathy, I probably can't attend, but I just wanted to say what an absolutely delightful idea I think this is.  My compliments.  I grew up next door to a home with an animal one on Morse.  Good luck!
