Buena Park Neighbors Open Day Lakefront Bicycle Tour

The leisurely, hour-long ride is free and begins and ends at the Peace Garden (east side of Lake Shore Drive at Buena) just prior to the noon start of Buena Park Open Day.

Tour riders will discover why Buena Park is proud to boast its unique lakefront with activities galore that are within walking and biking distance: an elephant grave, 2 bird sanctuaries for bird watching (one is on a former missile site), 2 boat harbors, an archery range, a lakefront golf course, a beach for swimming or sunning or play, tennis courts, a pier for fishing that stabilizes lake sand drift, cross country skiing, kayaking, a hill for kite flying or training or sledding, jet skiing, playgrounds, baseball and soccer fields, a skateboard park, a totem pole and some of the most majestic views Chicago has to offer.
