Bronzeville Bikes, Go Bronzeville, and Cargo Bike Roll Call are teaming up on Sunday, September 8th to bring Bronzeville free bike repair and a chance to win prizes and try out "cargo bikes" - bikes designed for carrying kids, groceries, and cargo of every kind.

Cargo Bike Roll Call is an ongoing event for Chicagoans to explore their options in carrying children, groceries, books, and more while cycling. Kids love riding in and on bikes! At the event, you can test out every manner of cargo bike. Several lucky people will win a free bike rack and milk crate for their bike to immediately start hauling cargo!

Bronzeville Bikes will also be hosting its monthly Pop-Up Bike Repair stand - come get your bike fixed for free, and meet Bronzeville neighbors who are working to make our neighborhood more bike-friendly! Mechanic Aaron Swanton from Blackstone Bicycle Works will be on hand to do assessments and small repairs. If you're the DIY type, learn what tools and parts you'll need to confidently fix your bike on your own.
