We'll ride up to The Globe Pub, then to The Duke of Perth, and finally The Red Lion Pub. Feel free to meet up anywhere along the route.
This will be a casual ride, through some great chicago neighborhoods and landmarks. All are welcome! Still, I hope we have a core group of Bromptons among us!

Happy to learn about this and thanks for including Rapid Transit in the loop! After our morning ride to the 606 (which I also expect to be a zoo), I will try to join everyone at one of the Pub stops. --Justyna

Heard Rapid Transit bike shop is also doing a Brompton ride that morning for the 606 opening celebration. I intend to do both and spend the whole day on my Brompton! Here is the info:

"Bring out your Brompton, and be one of the first to enjoy Chicago's newest bike trail.

Meet us at
Rapid Transit Cycleshop
1900 W. North Ave, Chicago
on Saturday, June 6 at 9:30am

We'll enjoy some quick morning treats, and then ride our Bromptons to the trail! We plan to ride the length of the 3-mile trail and back, and hopefully make some new Brompton fans along the way. We'll ride rain or shine (hopefully, the latter).

When I learned about 2 big bikes joining us, I mentioned it to my better half (and big bike rider), and now she may want in too. If you've got a friend or other that isn't a true Bromptoneer, consider inviting them along.

'We could get sucked in and never leave!'

Nice!

I am for sure going to make it on Saturday, I am also bringing 2 other "big bike" riders.

We would love to check out the trail!  Maybe just a quick stop depending on how busy it is?  We could get sucked in and never leave!

That would be cool, though it's expected to be a total mob scene, so might not be the best day for a group ride there!

Hope everyone saw the nice retweet we got on Twitter from @BromptonBicycles. Maybe we'll get a little more interest from that.

Really looking forward to the ride on Saturday! Not coincidentally, it's also the opening day of the long awaited Bloomingdale Trail! When we all gather at the corner of Madison and Clinton at 1:45, we'll see if we feel like heading to the opening day festivities prior to The Globe. For more info on the trail opening: http://bit.ly/1FveWsd

If we all agree it's worth a stop, this would be the revised route: http://bit.ly/1M6jgSD

See you then.

It would be lovely to meet you all! Feel no pressure to join for the entire ride. Anyone can leave the group whenever they'd like. This may help you get out of town with less pressure;-)

I hope Eliza(brommie), my husband and I can make it! We are going out of town later that evening but will really try and make it!
