Last year's (2008) ride was lovely--I did the longest route, and saw parts of Chicago that were new to me.

This was a great ride. I was afraid to start it in the morning as the night before, I had my first experience with insomnia... but well worth it (I only did the 35 mile version... next year will be the 60 one)!

i'm hoping to take it easy saturday night so i can ride the 62, but i have a feeling the party i'll be attending will be SO AWESOME that i can only manage the 35...

BTW - this ride is still in need of volunteers! Give friends and fam my contact info and we can set them up as course marshals along the route to cheer you along!

I'll prolly do the 35-miler with a few friends. However, this year I'm starting my ride somewhere on the north end of the course. No sense in going all the way to Hyde Park to start a ride!

Oh, Anne and I were talking about doing something similar to that Chucko. I'm excited for the ride!

A couple of friends are planning on meeting at the North end of the lakefront path, riding down for the 62 mile Ultimate Neighborhood Ride, and then riding home from there- which should make for an actual 100m century. If anyone's interested...
