Join Alderman James Cappleman, neighbors and friends for a FREE leisurely tour of the dynamic 46th Ward. Ride on the ward bike lanes! Explore connections to the Lakefront Trail you never knew existed! Ride under the rails of the El! And most importantly, join the discussion on how to make the 46th Ward an even better place to bike and walk.
WHEN: Sunday, Aug. 28 at 10 a.m.
WHERE: Ride starts at Uptown Bikes, 4653 N. Broadway, and ends at the Sunnyside pedestrian mall (between Magnolia and Malden), where you are invited to join your neighbors and Alderman Cappleman for light refreshments.
The FREE, one-hour ride will cruise past:
- Uplift High School
- Clarendon Park
- The gorgeous homes on Magnolia and Hutchinson - Challenger Park
- Newly renovated Truman College
- The Sunnyside pedestrian mall Bring your friends and neighbors, even those that don't live in the 46th Ward.
