Description

Ok, kids, the deal is we ride to 2 Brothers in Warrenville, then we ride to Wheaton to go camping!

The ride to Warrenville is approximately 33 miles, so it won't be too strenuous (particularly for those of you suckers who don't have someone with a car to carry yo' shit for you)!  I think we should still leave fairly early, so we have some time in the brewery and in front of the campfire.  However, its only about 7 miles to the campground.

I'm unfamiliar with both of these places, so if anyone has some input as to routes, calling ahead, reservations, and what not, its always appreciated! That being said, I want to do a pre-ride, but haven't decided on a date.  Anyone game?

So, I was gonna make an event for the pre-ride on Friday.  But, that seems like overkill and I got shit to do.

So, here's what: we meet at Union Park on Randolph at 10:00 AM.  Then, we ride to Garth's in Oak Park, getting there around 10:30 or 11:00.  (It's come to my attention that there are a few different ways to get to Oak Park besides the straight shoot that Google Maps has provided me - some of which are controversial and some not.  I'm very open to suggestion on routes.) From Oak Park, we will head out to 2 brothers, drink some beer, eat some food, be merry and all that!  Stop by the campsite, Then head back to the city!  Yay for fun!

Can I get a confirmation from people going on friday, so no one is left behind?

Hey guys, sorry for the delay!  Yes, the pre-ride is still this Friday.  I'll make an event, as well.  We will meet at Union Park and head to Oak Park to meet up with Garth, who has done the ride previously.  Then, we will head out to Warrenville from Oak Park.  I will follow up on a specific time as soon as I hear from garth.  But, I am thinking mid-morning, so people can sleep a little and maybe even eat breakfast!  (P.S. I am not married to any of these statements and open to suggestion)

That being said, Ed, if you would make the reservations, saving us some money, that would be great!  Right now, I'm thinking we should be safe with two group sites!  When I spoke with the lady last week, the following consecutive sites were still available:

20-21, 23-24, 43-44 and 47-50.

Yay for camping and beer!

I think I am in, want me to make the reservations?

I am a Dupage resident

also $30 per site for non Dupage county residents.

Ok, here's the deal.  They have sites open (even ones next to each other), but the sites are limited to 8 people and 2 tents (cock head to the side here).  I can reserve 3 sites over the phone, but I'm not sure who all is going and each site needs an individual name and a phone number.  So, please confirm whether you are going or not, so we can decide how many sites we need and please let me know who would be willing to be a contact person for sites.

Love and shit,

Kellie
