Description

Join us as we explore while riding en masse to and through the beautiful neighborhoods of the Lower West Side to end at an amazing authentic mexican cultural/food event!

We will meet at the Benito Juarez Plaza on Ashland and Cermak and ride through the premier Latino Neighborhoods of Chicago: Pilsen and Little Village. The ride will end at La Feria del Mole on 2801 S. Hamlin Ave. Free valet bike parking will be provided. Neighborhood bike ride is completely free, but Feria del Mole tickets are $7 in advance (you can ask here for them!) or $10 at the door. All donations for event go to community empowerment and education projects at Universidad Popular.

Taste Moles of all types from all over the regions of Mexico at the 9th annual Feria del Mole. La Feria del Mole was created by a Little Village women's empowerment group from Universidad Popular. Many of the women who created the event were victims of domestic violence and they've worked together to highlight the positive things that make them powerful and worthwhile. One of the many things several of them mentioned was: "I make the best Mole in Chicago." So... Naturally, a competition was set to settle these claims.

Who truly makes the best Mole in Chicago? You can be a judge! Mole Tasting starts from 12 and ends at 5. There will be music, vendors, entertainment, and much more. Event ends at 6.
