Description

Join the Chicago Architecture Foundation for an evening of bikes and brews at Revolution Brewing, Monday, August 21 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Local experts will give rapid-fire presentations on Chicago’s bike culture and the state of cycling in our city, followed by a moderated discussion and audience Q&A. Your ticket gets you an appetizer buffet and bottomless pints for the duration of the event!
We may well be in a new Golden Age for cycling in Chicago, but important questions remain for cycling's future: from the prioritization of bicycles in transportation planning to safety to equitable access for all Chicagoans. Chicago Reader columnist John Greenfield, city planner Benet Haller, former Chicago Park District historian Julia Bachrach, and the Active Transportation Alliance's Maggie Melin report on our diverse and growing cycling community and the proud history of cycling in the city.

Tickets are $35 for the general public and $28 for CAF members, available online, by phone at 312-922-8687 or by visiting the CAF box office at 224 S. Michigan Avenue.
Hope to see you there!
