Bike Lake View - June 12

Join the Lake View Citizens Council (LVCC) for a leisurely morning bike ride around Lake View. Get to know your neighbors while exploring our bicycle-friendly neighborhood, and get some tips for bike commuting before Bike to Work Week! The June ride will begin with a short presentation by the City of Chicago's Bicycling Ambassadors on commuting by bike and will end with free coffee and snacks at On the Route Bicycles so you can gear up. Helmets are required and be sure to bring a lock so you can join us for social time afterward.

Bike Lake View is a free hour-long neighborhood social ride on the second Sunday of every month. The rides are geared toward all of our neighbors, whether you haven't touched your bike in years or you commute daily by bike. We also invite local elected officials and neighborhood police to join us every month.

What: Bike Lake View neighborhood bike ride
When: 10 a.m., Sunday, June 12 (Second Sunday of every month)
Where: Meet at Seminary & Waveland (Northwest corner of Wrigley Field)
Post-ride: Social time around 11:30 a.m. at On the Route Bicycles (3144 N Lincoln), who is generously providing free coffee and snacks
