From "The Villager" The 7th annual Beverly Hills Cycling Classic returns to Beverly/Morgan Park on Fri., July 10. More than 125 professional and elite amateur cyclists are expected to participate in the race, the first leg of the 17-day International Cycling Classic Superweek Pro Tour. The race starts and finishes at 107th and Longwood Drive (about 3/4 of a mile east of Western). The race begins at 6 PM and is 100K long. It runs about 2 hours. There is a great Festival on the grounds of Beacon Therapeutic School near the start/finnish line. No cost (except for food and beer you may purchase) and great music by the Joe Jammer Band.
