Description

The tradition of having a memorial race for Amy Tremelling will continue this year at the Ed Rudolph Velodrome Thursday night racing program.

Amy Tremelling was a life long cyclist. Amy started cycling in the stock bike program. Then she graduated into Kenosha Wisconsin Tuesday night USCF Races. She competed in all national Track Cycling Events From 1991 to 2002. Amy competed and placed ell in the 1995 Olympic Festival. Amy also competed internationally in the Netherlands international track cup race, where she took the silver medal in the points race.
In 2000 Amy rode professional road race for the Trek Regional Team. In 2001 and 2002 she rode for Trek plus Women’s Road Race Team. Amy’s last woman’s pro race was the tour of Kentucky where she won Pro 1 Women’s race. Amy will be missed.
