Meet up with your friends, neighbors and community leaders to discuss the future of biking, walking and transit in Lakeview. We’ll be joined by 32nd Ward Ald. Scott Waguespack and Heather Way, Executive Director of the Lakeview Chamber of Commerce, which recently completed the Lakeview Area Master Plan.
The master plan is a blueprint aimed at transforming Lakeview into an even better place to live, work and play. It identifies specific recommendations for improving biking and walking in the neighborhood, including enhanced bike lanes, covered bike parking, pedestrian paths and plazas, safer intersections and more! Come out and learn more about how the plan envisions transportation in Lakeview and how you can help make it a reality. After a brief update from the Lakeview Chamber of Commerce and Ald. Waguespack, stick around and socialize as we celebrate summer in Chicago. We’ll also be raffling off some great bike gear from On the Route Bicycles.
The event will take place Tuesday, June 21, 5:30pm at FIZZ, 3220 N Lincoln. Free and open to the public, no RSVP necessary. Cash bar and food menu available.
