The Route:

Meet at the Dock Restaurant (200 W Montrose Harbor Drive) at Montrose Beach (near the sanctuary--No, no, don't panic. Not IN the sanctuary) Lots of free parking but it can get competitive -- if all else fails, there are pay lots nearby. Or just ride there!

We'll ride up the path at our usual pace to North Avenue Beach. We'll drop into Castaways (1603 N Lake Shore Drive). I haven't been there in years. It'll be a hoot.

From there we'll ride into Lincoln Park along the inner drive and turn left on Oakdale, short left on Clark where we'll land at the Duke of Perth (2913 N Clark).

Then north on Clark, east on Belmont, north on Halsted (turns into Clarendon), east on Montrose and back at the starting point.

It's just under 10 miles, so a perfect ride for a new member or a long-timer.

The weather looks perfect at 75 degrees, just cold enough to keep the throngs of loons off North Avenue Beach!
