Description

A relaxed ride along the Lakefront Path and Burnham Greenway to South Chicago, then across the border to Indiana.

  • Delicious food prepared by little old ladies 
  • Veg friendly
  • Polka music and dancing
  • Mr. Pierogi and the Piroguettes
  • Shaded beer garden with live music
  • The best festival "relief facilities" ever (air conditioned, running water and clean)
  • New this year:  attended bike parking, courtesy of South Shore Trails!

We explore the South Side, make beach stops and always have rock star parking at the festival.  Bring a lock, water, sunscreen and cash for starchy delights.

Seriously, even if the event itself wasn't such a blast, the guy who does "Freebird" on accordion alone is worth the trip...
