Description

This is my club's annual event which take you on a tour of Central Illinois. There are 5 routes to pick from: family fun ride(8 mi), 25 mi, 50 mi, 62mi(metric century) and 100 mi(century). The routes are well supported with food stops. Each food stop will have a different menu, which will be posted on the website prior to the ride. I can guarantee no baloney sandwiches will be serve.

Make it a weekend trip! Peoria is the home of Caterpillar Inc. While you are in the Peoria area, visit the Caterpillar Visitors Center(http://www.caterpillar.com/en/company/visitors-center.html) to learn about the history of the company and the Peoria Riverfront Museum(http://www.peoriariverfrontmuseum.org/) next door, which currently featuring Ripley's Believe It or Not exhibits. If you like wine, there are 2 local wineres in the area you can tour(Kickapoo Winery and Mackinaw Winery). Check out http://www.peoria.org/ for more detail.
