Description
British Bicycles of Chicago is hosting the 2010 Bonfire Tweed Ride. Don your best woollies, strap some wood to your bicycle rack and join us.
The route will be from Ravenswood to Bubbly Creek with stops along the way at a relaxed pace. We will take in parks, industrial and residential areas as darkness falls. The finale will be the lighting of a bonfire!
Warm yourself by the glow of the fire, after riding in style with friends old and new. Cue sheets, spoke cards and prizes will be provided.

A Welsh invasion? Do tell, do tell ... in case anyone else needs a Tweedy Infusion, check out Village Discount Outlet smack dab in the middle of Roscoe Village. It's got a HUGE, well-organized selection of retro EVERYTHING.

Got some more tweed in the Sally Ann (Salvation Army) thrift shop yesterday, $3+tax for a Sears' genuine Harris Tweed jacket.
Forecast for Saturday is still dry & sunny, but chilly: we're gonna need that bonfire in the evening? I'll probably be making the guy on Friday.
The word on the street is that there may be more Welshmen present - besides me & Owen, that is - you have been warned!
