We would start in Michigan City/New Buffalo and end in Saugatuck. Around 70-75 miles each way. The route (being developed by Curt Winkle and me) will take you on a breathtaking tour of the Indiana/Michigan lakefront as well as some of the smaller communities a little off the beaten track. Of course there will enough time for many stops along the way: pie shops, snack shops, ice cream shops, etc.

I have put a hold on rooms at a B&B in Douglas/Saugatuck. If 10 people sign up, we'll have the place to ourselves! If more than than 10 people want to make the trip, I'll find an additional B&B near ours.

We're still developing our day in Saugatuck. One suggestion (made by our dear friends Edina and Patsy) was to bike over to the Fennville Winery and sample every bottle in the joint. I'm certain that experience would be absolutely fabulous.

Please let me know as soon as possible if you can make it. Saugatuck is hard to book even after Labor Day, so I want to make certain everyone gets a chance to play.
