Active Transportation Alliance is producing a new edition of its acclaimed Chicagoland Bike Map. Our map is produced using a variety of data, most notably first-hand volunteer reporting. Therefore, we need lots of volunteers to take part in the street study and verify the routes in Chicagoland that are best suited for cycling. Sign up to volunteer using our registration site.
Volunteer trainings will be held between October 29 and November 7. Each volunteer will be assigned a specific geographic area to evaluate, and responses are due no later than November 26. We’ll try to match you with your area of choice, but some travel may be required. Have questions? E-mail info@activetrans.org or call 312.427.3325.
Please note, we only need volunteers to report on the suburban communities in Cook, Lake, McHenry, DuPage, Kane, Kendall and Will counties. We are not doing field work in Chicago.
