Description

Join us for this self-paced bike ride with picnic and music. We meet about one hour southwest of the city at the I&M Bike Trail and ride from Channahon to Morris (an easy, flat 30 miles round trip). Ride at your own pace. The I&M trail continues for another 15 miles so you can stretch the ride, if you wish. In Morris, we stop for a gourmet picnic under the majestic oak trees at Gebhard Woods State Park and enjoy the free sights and sounds of the newly named Dulcimer & Traditional Music Festival in its 23rd year.

By participating, you will be helping support the work of Sierra Club Inner City Outings, which provides outdoor experiences for local disadvantaged kids. So bring your family (games for kids) and friends for a great day and a great cause. Cost is $22 ($5 for kids 12 and under) donation. Send your check payable to Chicago ICO and an email address or a SASE to Colin Tysoe, 1719 West Weathersfield Way, Schaumburg, IL 60193 before June 1st. Full details will be emailed or mailed to you. Reservation required by June 1st to participate in the gourmet lunch.

Sorry I can't make it... The City always asks me to leave town the weekend of the Naked Ride.
