15th Annual Pumpkinvine Bike Ride

The 15th Annual Pumpkinvine Bike Ride routes will include new trail built in 2013. The routes will use a combination of the 16-mile Pumpkinvine Nature Trail and county roads passing through the third largest Amish community in the U.S. Ride on roads with horses and buggies past fields with farm animals enclosed by white fences. Bike with 1200 other cyclists, ride past country stores and country schools and see new-born foals in summer pastures.

Generous SAGs will serve fruits, vegetables and cold cut sandwiches. We use locally grown produce when available. Home made pie and ice cream will be served at the end of the ride. Join our optional Friday Evening Dinner Ride and bicycle to an Amish home where you will be served a hearty Thresher's Dinner.

The proceeds will support trail maintenance and expansion.
