Join us for 12th annual Perimeter Ride of Chicago!
Buckingham Fountain. Ride meets at 8 am and promply leaves at 8:30 am
This is a moderately paced ride so leave your scorcher at home.
We will be meeting at the Buckingham Fountain and head south, then west, then north, then east and finally south again encompassing the vast perimeter of one of the greatest cities in the world, Chicago!
This is a century! Bring a bike that is in good working order and has decent tires on it, the south and westsides has some glass issues that are beyond our control. Bring plenty of water and clothing that you can layer up with when the sun goes down. Finally bring cash for the food stops.

What a fun ride! I already cannot wait until next year. Thanks so much Kevin and David for planning and leading.
Yeah - Thanks Kevin and David! It was a swell time AGAIN! My bed is full of sand and I have a bunch of strange bruises. I'm pretty sure that means I had a good time.
Home safe! Pictures, please! Mwah!
Don't forget Perimeter Riders...
8:00 am meet-up; 8:30 am departure.
Bring clothing for a broad range of weather (50s-80s) with a chance of rain later on.
Bring money.
Bring lights.
A cue sheet will be provided at Buckingham Fountain.
David of the North (773-eightsix5-7four45) and Kevin C (312-ninesix1-1two52) will be the facilitators for this event. If you're running late or need to know where to catch the ride, give us a call.
Real stragglers should plan to meet the ride at Argus Brewery between 12:00 and 12:30 pm. We should be there for a couple hours. The address is 11314 S Front Street.
See everyone in the morning!
Great - thanks. Oooh, and that would let me stop by Aripo's for some homeland food! :)
5 pm target is pretty close to, or in Oak Park. (Very close to the Blue Line).
Keeping in mind Kevin's 'excruciatingly moderate' comment and desire to speed it up abit, etc., where do y'all think the ride is likely to be around 5PM or so? I'd love to do this but have plans for the evening and doubt I can stay out later than that.
