Description

Join us for 12th annual Perimeter Ride of Chicago!

Buckingham Fountain. Ride meets at 8 am and promply leaves at 8:30 am

This is a moderately paced ride so leave your scorcher at home.

We will be meeting at the Buckingham Fountain and head south, then west, then north, then east and finally south again encompassing the vast perimeter of one of the greatest cities in the world, Chicago!

This is a century! Bring a bike that is in good working order and has decent tires on it, the south and westsides has some glass issues that are beyond our control. Bring plenty of water and clothing that you can layer up with when the sun goes down. Finally bring cash for the food stops.

Thanks to everyone who showed up and thanks to Argus for throwing us a party. Thanks to John Greenfield for conceiving of this great idea for a ride and leading it for 10 years. The 2013 Perimeter Ride essentially followed a route John laid out in 2008.
