You blew the red light east bound on Lawrence at Damen at 5:26 pm this evening.
There was enough time for the biker in front of me to make it half way into the intersection, northbound on Damen, before you came whizzing past my front wheel.
I yelled "You're an idiot!" at your big haired chick, self, and you looked back at me. I meant it!
I woulda testified for any of the cars, that managed to not kill you, if they had.
Keep riding like a tard!
love,
gabe
Witness bad behavior during your commute? Feel free to post. Maybe that lovely human can read it and think they are famous. Maybe you can also inspire the whole generation of kids to shower but we can start with small things.

I am passing a jogger on the left on the lakefront trail this morning. The oncoming lane has another rider doing the same. Just as we meet, a blonde female with black pants and a white, red-lettered t-shirt tries to pass me in the center. While realizing she has little room for this maneuver I hear a mewing sound as she panics and her wobbling bicycle passes me. No apologies. How she made it, I do not know. She put five people in danger and could have seriously injured or killed two. I wish I would have said, "If you caannot ride safely, do not ride at all," rather than, "&^#^ @^&% $^%#% ^^%&^ %#$& *$%*^& %$& #%!
Yikes. Along with being unable to determine intercept points yelling 'on your left' doesn't give you right of way, either.
Wow, this happened to me at the end of June, but didn't end so well. In my case it was also a blonde lady that passed me in the same circumstances and she knocked us both down. She got up and rode off just fine after making sure I wasn't "seriously" injured, but both of my wheels ended up needing to be replaced and I it turned out that broke my elbow. Couldn't ride for a month. Ugh. Do you remember what her bike looked like?
There are too many of these entitled parents that think that because they carry a baby, they can use the baby as a shield.
Dear lady in the car heading South on Southport that almost hit me and then started screaming at me after I exclaimed, "whoa!" to warn her that she was about to hit me:
Thank for you motivating me to sprint to catch up to you. It felt great that I was eventually able to catch up to you by Lincoln even though you were trying to speed up to get away from me. Yes, I had nothing to say, just wanted to look over at you as I passed you to take my place at the light. Have a good day!
I swear there are few things more aggravating than being stopped at a stop sign with another rider a few feet to your right and having someone blow between you two just as a car with right of way is entering the intersection, forcing that driver to stop suddenly. Especially on Kinzie by the East Bank Club where there's tons of pedestrian traffic at the busy 4-way stop.
It was a bad day for me yesterday (Friday) too - too many cars way too close.
Mike (and others),
Have you considered an air horn (EXAMPLE)? I have one of these; it's louder than sh!t and has come in very handy on several occasions. Good examples are cars starting to turn right, crossing my path, and merging into my lane along side me. I use it sparingly, but it is soooooo gratifying to see the motorist slam on their brakes. I suspect it's because they don't expect that loud a noise from a bike, and think there's a car they didn't account for. This thing recharges with a bicycle tire pump... I keep it at 80 PSI for maximum readiness. I only need to charge it once a week or two. FWIW, I recommend mounting it so it's right by one of your thumbs so you don't have to go fumbling for it in a tight spot. See the image below, by the left grip.
Steve
EDIT: Hahaha... just noticed I photobombed myself!
