Frame Painting/Powdercoating

Anybody have recommendations for places to get a frame powder coated or painted? I've done some searching and can't seem to find many places.

Anybody with firsthand experience with this work as done by Heritage?  Was considering "fixing" one of my bikes that suffers from Shitty Surly Stock Color Syndrome.

I deal with a company up north, Lo-Ko, that quoted me $75 to $100 for primary colors (depending of frame size).  We use them where I work and he has always stood behind his work.  Great place, might get a frame to them in the near future myself.

I wouldn't consider Lo-Ko 'north' to many people.  They coated my car's exhaust manifold with some heat resistant paint ten years ago that's held up very well so I can say they do good work in that area and were on time and on price.

So Heritage says frame save after painting, decals you bring...etc. Still have to remove a stubborn right side BB cup...

Heritage painted an '87 Trek Elance frame for me last month. I think it took about two weeks (but I told them I was in no hurry).

It looks great and seems like a strong bond but I am in the process of rebuilding the bike so I haven't had the chance to really test the durability.

I don't think that Heritage offers paint, they do powder coating which is a world of difference.  what can be done with wet paint and how much more it shows details on the frame is night and day.

Correct, powdercoated, not painted. From some reason I thought it was a baked enamel but their website says powdercoating.

I'd still like to have my boring light gray Surly painted to look like Western Maryland's last diesels.

Nice...strip the parts and do the deed!

Glad I bumped this discussion.  After taking a good look at my new acquisition last night, I decided to leave it as is.  Some light touch ups or perhaps a waxing will prevent corrosion/rust.  I'm just having it frame saved now.
