Tomorrow's forecast is 90 to 100% chance of rain. The National Weather Service (forecasts always to be taken with a grain of salt) says 1 to 2 inches of rain, 30 mph wind gusts and thunder.
I am thinking Divvy might be my bike du jour if I find it is not raining when I want to ride. I love that option!

Skip thanks, that NOAA site is great, I've never seen that before.
I'll be riding, I don't melt in water and I get to shower on the work end of my ride.

I have to drive in for work reasons. If you want to ride home but are not thrilled by riding in the anticipated morning conditions, I could throw the rack on the car and swing by Evanston. I would want to leave Evanston no later than 730am but would be willing to go earlier.

I was expecting to take the train this morning, but saw nothing too ominous in the hourly forecast until mid-afternoon, so I rode. I'll do the same Thursday, but my favorite weather summary suggests it might be messy. If I do manage to ride, the ride home should be nice though. Look at that wind forecast!
Thanks for the offer. I will just take Metra if I decide not to ride...

ill be out there, time to really test the new fenders.
TODAY, I left my bike at my office and took Divvy to my 5:00 meeting. Glad someone with a car offered to drive me home. :-) Yes, it is raining and it does not look like it is going to stop. I will have to bring sufficient rain gear with me tomorrow to ride the bike home tomorrow night regardless of what is falling from the sky.
I'm not riding tomorrow, but only because my stuff won't yet be dry from tonight.
In other news, how long do those Showers Pass jackets last? Could I squeeze a third season out of mine?
Wash your it with Tech Wash to revitalize the Durable Water Repellency (DWR) of your rain gear. You should then be able to use your rain gear for nearly 10 years, of course, depending on the wear and tear conditions.

Bestest case scenario happened:
I am working from home. I get to look at the rain from my warm dining room

No.
Best case scenario, I might Divvy it part of the way home.
I left my bike at the office last night, and this morning debated between Divvy and Blue line because it was just drizzling when I left. I was glad I did Blue line since when I got downtown it was absolutely pouring. But I am going to ride my bike home--brought the rain jacket and pants and hoping it won't be pouring.
