I signed.

I signed too.

There's three trains in Illinois that allow roll-on bikes.  There's a train across Missouri that allows roll-on bikes.  There's at least a partial route through Michigan too.

Milwaukee is the first step; a train across the state to La Cross should follow.

I signed. It would mean a lot less planning to make the century ride to Milwaukee if I could just hop the train back.

Howard, call Dan Johnson with Progressive Public Affairs. He does a lot of lobbying work related to Amtrak with regards to high speed rail and might be helpful in keeping you pointed in the right direction. He is expecting your call. Really nice, smart guy and a friend to alternative transportation.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the advice, but I was just passing it along-- not something that's particularly important to me personally.

Not only did I sign, but I've been trying to get this petition circulated up here in Milwaukee.  Let's make this link a reality!

If anyone knows Paul Larson, please tell him to email me. I couldn't find his contact info on the change.org petition.
