The Fourth of July Ride in Plainfield - Looking for Someone to Ride With

I am planning to ride 30 miles at an average speed of 10 - 12 mph.  (It could be a little faster, as I have a new, lighter bike.)  I would enjoy having a partner or two along for the ride.  Would anyone be interested?

We should arrive by 7 am. Happy to meet up and all ride together. We will have varying speeds.

Knock on wood but the weather looks perfect, 65-70 degrees and light winds

Julie,  Is there a reason why we need to start at 7:00 A.M.?  I am not an early riser, so even 7:30 is early for me.  Alice

I would love that idea, but with my knee I need every advantage I can get. 62 miles will be double any ride I have done so far this year. So it will be The c59 with race wheels

I was hoping to try to join in on this, but I blew a spoke last night and now my wheel will be in the shop :(

Julie, you will probably be faster than me. I'm working on it but I have speed work to do!

Michael A & B, I'm just gonna draft both of you. Beardie's hard to draft... too squirrely. ;-)

We have a nice group going. Can't wait!!
