Are you sure those areas haven't be de-annexed recently?

Thanks for the link, Adam!

Is there a separate map showing locations on the West and South sides?

When is the "second wave" supposed to be?

I think it's nice of them to work out the kinks on downtown and the north side so that the big south and west side rollouts can go more smoothly.

Why I'm looking forward to Divvy:

1. These bikes are funny-looking and fun to ride.  I tried them in DC and DF, Mex.  Very reliable!

2. I have a lot of houseguests in the summer, few of whom fit my bikes!

3. I was traveling over Memorial Day weekend and at least a dozen people asked about the Chicago bike share.

They released the station map this morning overlaid on Google. Much better than that Trib picture.

I am getting more psyched about it everyday. A station 50 yards from my home. A station 50 yards from my work. What more could I ask for?

Lots of stations near work, near LaSalle St. Metra and near places I want to go. Counting the days to 6/14 launch....

Oh, and the memberships go on sale today at noon.

I am getting exited. I think I'll just do a little happy dance in my cubicle now...

I'm going for the $125 version, mainly for the T-shirt. Hope the website doesn't crash! Granted, this isn't an iPhone release…

Streetsblog has the system map color coded by phase of installation. Both stations near my apartment and work are in phase 2!

And an explanation of the fees if you exceed a half hour trip:

Trips that are completed by Annual Members under 30 minutes are included in Membership, but trips longer than 30 minutes incur overtime fees. After the initial 30 minutes, Members will be charged an additional $1.50 for the following half hour, $3.00 for the next, and $6.00 for every half hour after that. A trip begins when a bike is unlocked and ends when the bike is securely returned to any Divvy station.   If you would like to use a bike for an extended period of time, we encourage you to rent a bike at a local bike shop or rental business. Please visit our list of local bike shops and rental businesses on our Resources page.

Darn, Member #110 - I had hoped to be in the first 100.  Who's got the lowest member# here?

Wish I'd seen that $10 off coupon prior to signing up!

Me too!  However, it looks like there might be some lag time involved in getting the $10 coupon.
