Get well soon yogi.

Oh man, that is a total bummer. Hope to see you out spinning real soon!  thanks for sharing, super glad you had a helmet on!  I have little respect for those who don't wear them....we can't control the drivers around us, even when we do everything right.  Quick recovery!!

Dan,

That's where I had my crash in 2010 and I just spent an hour there two weeks ago with a reporter explaining all the ways that intersection is dangerous.

If you are going to pursue this legally, I would suggest editing your original post where you talk about the details of the crash. This is discoverable and can go into the case against you.

Call one of the excellent cycling lawyers and delete this thread NOW.

Rest and heal, Dan. Good luck with your recovery.

Good luck with your recovery.  It may be tough just getting back into riding the urban roads once you have physically recovered.  Good luck with that.  As regards your incident- you were hit.  Its a shame.  We don't need any other details. That's between you and your lawyer.

Sorry to hear that Dan.  Hope everything heals up quickly.

Dan - get well soon!  Glad you're okay, the bike can always be replaced.
