Mine is about a 30 mile round trip, from Albany Park to Glencoe. I have to get my riding in during the summer, since my route is basically not ridable in the winter if there's snow. In the winter I just ride a couple of miles to the Metra every day.

I have about an 10 mile, 40min, commute from Oak Park to Lincoln Park. I go down Washington or Augusta.

I try for at least a few times a week, otherwise its the CTA at around 45 -50 min
Wow, that's quite a commute. Mine is about 7.5 miles one way, from Lincoln Square-ish to River North. Most of the ride is right down Lincoln Ave, and it takes me about a half hour most days. I ride M-F, except for the occasional day when my wife talks me into taking the train due to weather. I invariably regret it when I do. :)
8.5 miles if I take the Lakefront Path. 7 miles if I take streets. Ravenswood to the Loop.
7.5 from Humboldt to the south loop. I can not wait until the x-sport opens down here so I can take a shower before school/work.
Mine is from Uptown to the south west loop/Union Station area, so about 7 miles on Halsted and 8 if I take the lake.

2slowTreck - I go to the Fitness Formula at Jackson & Canal, is that anywhere close to where you work?

Oh, and despite my best efforts I can only make it about 2 times/week.

I work and go to school at Columbia. I joined x-sport about a year ago, when they said the new gym would open be opening in a few months... but they havent.

It was much worse when I was riding from edgewater to the south-loop with no shower!
I don't have a shower...as long as I change immediately when I finish my ride, and have some deodorant and cologne at work, I'm usually okay. Though I do keep my hair short in the summer, which helps with that. I wish I had a shower at work- stupid suburban office building.

I commute about 7.5 miles from Pilsen to Lakeview.
My office is only about 3.5 miles from my office, and I don't don't find that long enough to get my head together properly before work. So I do this 15 mile loop, starting from my neighborhood/beginning of the lakefront path, down to Navy Pier, then back north again where I peel off at Addison and trot over to Irving Park and Ravenswood.

I find that showering in the morning before I leave tends to keep the funk down, even if I sweat like a mob informant on the stand.

And I used to love doing another long-ish ride after work, but we've been so busy over here that I tend to limp those 3.5 miles home instead. ;)

Whoa! I meant to say my HOME is only about 3.5 miles from my office! I think it's time to go home early... ;)
6 miles; shower with anti-bacterial soap, change all your clothes when you get to work, and clean your privates with Huggies baby wipes. Works like a charm, even on 95F days.
