Not far, just around the block.  Slippery where it wasn't shoveled well.

I just wanted to be first to start this discussion.

52 miles for me on the bike,52 miles on the car to get the emissions tested (another IDOT special) so I combined the trips to get some north suburb trail riding in.  A beautiful day for it for sure.  A little windy but the easterlies off the lake made it cool.

52 miles in todays conditions was quite a ride.

1667.4 after Ninth Step Double-Oktoberfest Almost-Century. which included revisiting the site of my 1/26 photo. :-) extrapolation for 2020 up to 2254.1.

6163 ytd outdoors

7860 all outdoors

809.86 for Sept.

5127.66 the year.

I'm wanting to get 6000 or better for the year. A good Oct. and dry and fair Nov. and Dec. it should be doable.

For you cold weather riders, some good prices on wool jerseys can be had at

Hell, you GOT this one.

6604.4 miles cycled in 2020 after 582.0 miles, all outdoor, for September. This was the first month of 2020 with under six hundred miles cycled - I got lazy I guess...

354 consecutive days cycled in 2019-2020. Keep on truckin'!

so did you keep on truckin' to 365?

Yes!

Although on the road with a car trip to the east coast for the first two weeks of September, I DID get in three great half-century bike rides in West Virginia, which helped me maintain my lead on Curt(s)2019 by 568 miles.

891 road miles with 8 Perimeter Rides in the month of September brings me to 7,503 miles Y-T-D (6,463 road + 1,040 hamster) and 60 PRs (surpassing last year's total of 58.)

While this keeps me on track to surpass 10,000 on the year, weather and "the holidays" as always will make it difficult to actually achieve. Curt(is)2017 was the last to hit that mark.

1904 after Tenth Step Ride. extrapolation for 2020 up to 2278.6!
