Been catcalled? Harassed while riding your bike? Touched by a motorist? All some pretty unsettling occurrences. While this video appears to be staged, this behavior does happen to cyclists. Have you seen/experienced anything similar while riding your bike?

You're not a woman. You don't seem to understand the difference in the level of physical threat that an incident like this might pose to an average woman.
Maybe it's worth taking some time to step back and consider that. Just my $0.02...
My personal contribution has been riding or walking with female friends who feel vulnerable. I get hassled less than many of my friends, probably because I'm bigger than most of the guys doing the hassling. There IS safety in numbers in situations like this.
Definitely safety in numbers. As someone that deeply enjoys riding by myself, that is a sad reflection on what the experiences can be like riding a bike as a woman.
People used to yell "Hey Lance" to me, it was distracting, but tolerable. This year, people have been screaming at me to use the sidewalk and I had a milkshake thrown at me.
