You blew the red light east bound on Lawrence at Damen at 5:26 pm this evening.

There was enough time for the biker in front of me to make it half way into the intersection, northbound on Damen, before you came whizzing past my front wheel.

I yelled "You're an idiot!" at your big haired chick, self, and you looked back at me. I meant it!

I woulda testified for any of the cars, that managed to not kill you, if they had.

Keep riding like a tard!

love,

gabe

Witness bad behavior during your commute? Feel free to post. Maybe that lovely human can read it and think they are famous. Maybe you can also inspire the whole generation of kids to shower but we can start with small things.

You could also try the police. There's a city ordinance against parking or standing in a bike lane... this might reasonably apply to anything else that blocks the lane. Stealing, damaging or kicking the sign probably would not be regarded sympathetically.

Put it on Twitter. Do it!

I kick them to the curb every single time.

Name the restaurant so we can trash them on Yelp.

Organize a ride and get a bunch of bicyclists to complain to them continuosly

Getting ready to trash a place on Yelp right now. Today, a Ferrara Bakery van unloaded a huge lunch order while parked in the middle of the Dearborn lane right in front of the Cook County Admin Bldg and only steps from its loading dock. They opened the back doors AND BOTH SIDE DOORS to ensure that 100% of the lane was blocked and there was zero chance of riding around them. Of course the lane is "parking protected" at this point, so you couldn't even take the lane to avoid them.

In theory, this is a $150 fine. See THIS.

Been a good last few weeks for cycling weather!

Not much in the way of slippery stuff, but the temps could be a little higher!

I'm curious. You've been writing this on a lot of the threads. Care to elaborate?

Bro in a black Ram 1500 was partially blocking the bike lane on Elston, in the viaduct, coming up on Ashland, and I bumped up against him as I passed. He slowed as he passed me after the Cortland and told me not to touch cars, then asked how I would like it if he bumped my bike with his truck. I asked if he was threatening me and if I needed to call 911, in response to which he threw his half-empty drink out the window at me (and missed). I snapped some photos of his truck but unfortunately only got a partial plate # as he pulled away.

Each time I passed him between there and Division he would look over with this smug-bro smile. Nice that he felt so good about committing a misdemeanor and also being stuck in traffic so slow that I passed him twice along the way.

A new twist on an old favorite.

Riding down Barry between Sheffield and Racine West bound you pulled out in front of me from a parking space weaving driving extremely slow like 5 mph I didn't want to pass and actually couldn't even though it's a one way at this point.

Then you slam on the brakes and back up attempting to do what? Then you accelerate and slam on the brakes again and stop after I ask you what you're doing? You say I had my bike light blinking in your mirror now you tell me to go ahead of of you..no way I'm getting in front of you so you decide to get out of your car to shove me,laughable at 5'6" 90 pound woman so you throw a Pepsi can at me, now I just did laundry and cleaned my bike... now I have high fructose corn syrup on me,as a final attempt at something you turn sharply to bump my bike then drive away heading North on Racine.
