The Classic Chicago Architecture Cycyling Fan Club Inaugural Ride!

The first ride I was positive we could do together was to be our Vuelta a Albany Park:

However, I am itching to ride! Also, I am itching to meet folks in this group. Here is my idea:

I have three tours you can pick from, based on three tours I have already done, have research and notes for, and have already routed. They have between a dozen and two dozen stops to view and discuss amazing works of architecture and to discuss the history of the community. The goal would be to have it be a group ride only….no other publicity, but anyone can join the group, and therefore anyone can ride. Furthermore, to make it interesting, our inaugural ride will be decided by the members….you can vote for the ride, and when we ride. Also, I was also hoping that this ride would be at a quicker pace than my normal rides. My monthly rides attract riders of every skill level and age, and therefore the pace is more relaxed….perhaps we can truck a little bit on this ride….
In order to vote, first place the community areas below in your order of preference. You can also elect to omit any rides from your vote so you can vote for just 1 or 2 rides.

You can also select WHEN we ride. Here are 6 choices based on some availability I have to do the rides. Please do the same, by placing your time preference in order first to last, or at least listing your top choices.

Saturday February 21 – 1:00 PM
Saturday February 21 - NIGHTRIDE! – 9:30 PM
Sunday February 22 – 11:00 AM

prefer A'ville (1), Avondale (2). I did the J Park with you a few months ago, and it was great, but would like a new (to me) ride next.
Saturday, 11:00a is my preference

Hi! Faster pace sounds fine by me.
1. Uptown/Andersonville
2. Avondale or Jefferson Park equal

Feb 21 or 22 both good, any daytime.
Prefer to save nights for spring-fall.

In order of preference:
Avondale – about 11 miles
Jefferson Park – about 16 miles
Uptown/Andersonville – about 15 miles

My vote is for daytime on Saturday.

Hi, Lee. How are things?

My vote is for Uptown/Andersonville on Saturday at 1 p.m. rather than 11.

My husband, Jerry, the pilot of the orange bakfiets at the Logan Square ride, isn't a Chainlinker, but his vote is for Uptown/Andersonville as well. For what it's worth.
