since i know your obsessed with this site....ill ask.
or remind you...of what a man ...and a hipster boy is.

a man.....
works hard for what he's got. doesnt play mind games, means what he says. doesnt hang out at the green eye or the 2way. doesnt work the "im an artist " thing on women at coffee shops. his parents didnt pay for his schooling, he's not from wisconsin, doesnt have a mustache for fashion.doesnt "thrift" for fashion

be a lady, have some class, be able to sniff out the posers and spit in there face. be genuine.

Hey cockmaster, Learn to spell. I doubt you're my "real man". And if you were, you wouldn't reside in Lincoln Park. I'd like to spit in your face. You seem like a bigger tool than any of the pussies that play the hipster card.

I hear you, bro. Fuck those young, creative people that are enjoying the best years of their lives. Who the fuck do they think they are anyway? You ain't a fuckin' REAL man until you have a striped, button-down shirt, a gym membership, and a Jetta with a bike rack.

Semi-literate posts like this incline me to seek more intelligent ways of using my time.
It's hard to believe, after reading this exchange, that these folks are among the survivors of the evolutionary process. Perhaps though, they are the proof of the theory - mutations remain an essential ingredient.
Some fruitcake guy in Spandex riding some fancy road bike opposite of me on the North Branch Trail called me "Idiot" on the Tall Bike a few days ago, I immediately responded with "Jerk" and turned around to see him looking very surprised because I am looking very pissed and was going to try and kick him off but I could not catch him, but I did get pretty close. I get very those seldom few a-holes and look forward to it (just not at Mass)
It's nice to see that cycling is just as divisive as every other hobby/lifestyle/pursuit.

Agreed. That guy was a jerk. I've never seen a tall bike on the NBT, but it would be an interesting sight.

A tall bike on a wooded trail is bound to attract some comments, but I agree, that guy was a jerk.

As for the OP, that is pretty hilarious. I especially loved the part about how a real man "is not from Wisconsin."

I'm guessing that the "m" in m4w stands for "moron".
"CARBON FIBER"
I hear that He has the cover of "Hell Awaits" tattooed on His back.

I live a block away, I pruned (MOST) of the branches hanging out onto the trail so I don't slap my face when I come back in the dark. I've almost hit deer on a few occasion, it is weird. Most people up here are cool, they need a reality break anyway.
I wonder what's on God's iPod right now.

Clearly The Knack is on there somewhere...as is Frampton, and possibly Sid Barrett-era Pink Floyd.
