Moving sale/giveaway
I'm sure to post more as I whittle down my possessions pre-move, but here's some stuff for now:
Older computer stuff: HP Deskjest 970 Cse printer, Iomega external CD burner, external hard drive (can't recall the capacity, but I wanna say between 10-20 gb), and a Delta 1010 audio interface for recording (uses a PCI slot interface). FREE!
Bike stuff: Specialized footbeds (size 45.5, red), assorted seatposts and seats, oooold-assed Raleigh stem, 32-hole Mavic CXP-33 rim with busted hub and a lil' wobble (but might be good for rebuilding), and a pair of platform pedals with plastic toeclips/nylon straps. FREE!
Also 2 wrecked bikes good for parts: Trek 660 with Shimano 600 bits (missing cranks and rear derailleur), and my late, lamented Bridgestone RB-1 (bent fork and derailleur hanger) with Suntour GPX brake calipers, along with seatpost, bottom bracket, and other stuff I can't recall. TAKE 'EM AND GIVE 'EM A GOOD HOME!
The following bike parts are for sale and prices are definitely negotiable:
Randonneur bars--$20
Suntour Superbe rear cassette hub, NOS--$50
Suntour cassette NOS--$30
Cardiosport heart rate monitor, never used, still in box--$25
Bridgestone MB-4, 19", fully fendered with black Zefals, Nitto Technomic stem, NO REAR WHEEL--$100
Bridgestone RB-2, signs of being in a wreck, but rideable (definitely at your own risk). Or just swipe the Shimano 105 group from it (it has brifters!), along with its headset, seatpost, stem, etc.--$50
Radio Shack digital tire pressure gauge. Still in box/never used: $15
Coleman "5 in 1" Air Compressor, still in box/never used: $20
I also have a Pottery Barn bookshelf that's all metal and wood, and looks more or less like a ladder. $50
2 Ikea chairs with yellow cloth cover and what looks to be maple (laminate?) wood frame: $25 for the pair
And there's a wacky table with a copper (?) top with an ornate, curlicue bottom that's as heavy as Black Sabbath vs. Pantera in a steel cage match. I'll post pics before too long. Best offer!

It should be fine. The last time I used it a couple of years ago, it was OK, but it will definitely require new ink cartridges.

Jason, I would be happy to take the computer stuff, minus the printer, 'cause John has dibs. My son would probably use the audio gear for his techno-mashup stuff. Also interested in buying the heart rate monitor. Friend me so I can send you my contact info.

I am all about your RB-2. I can always use seatposts and quil stems so any of that stuff would be sweet.....plus you need to call me my man!

Did i read that right, a shimano 105 group set (including sti shifters, headset, seatpost) for 50 bucks? is the etc. including front and rear derailleurs, and brakes? what kind of condition is this stuff it?! i might be interested! let me know.

if you're willing to donate a saddle n post to a phantom cause - a neighbor locked a beater to our bike rack and someone stole his saddle. He's abandoned it at our best parking spot. I'm looking for a beater saddle and post to drop in with a note in hopes that the bike gets put back to use (and freed from our prime spot!!)
I'll also love to buy the heart rate monitor if it's not a huge beast. I know they're all garage door openers, but some aren't so bad. Tell us a bit about it?
