The most beautiful day of the year

I've wanted to start this thread so many times this year. . . there have been so many beautiful, glorious days this year and each time I think "this is probably the last really beautiful day" and then another comes along.  Take yesterday morning-- what a wonderful combination of warm moist air and all the smells of autumn.

Bouncing this thread to the top heretoforth will be considered a declaration that said bouncer considers the day upon which the bouncing occurs to be the most beautiful day of the year.

Probably--lack of wind, sunshine, and clear roads will do that after what we have been living with. :-)

I left work for a ride during lunch and I nominate today. Each decent day and I get a little manic. I can't soak it up enough. 

This was my first Chainlink post, and I can't wait for more beautiful days.

Today is a candidate! The surface of the lake was a perfect mirror. Glad to see so many more cyclists out too!

It was so beautiful that I just sat back and relaxed as I pedaled to work today.  Idiots on bikes, idiots in cars--who cares!
